Seymour Hearmore Experiment No2 turns a snake plant's bioelectric signal into a living 3D portrait. PlantWave sensors read small changes in Seymour's electrical conductivity, and each change moves light, color, breath and sound through a point cloud built from his photo. Light and breath follow the signal's level, color follows its direction, shimmer follows its activity, and every note sends a pulse of tone and color through his leaves.
Listen to Seymour's recorded signal, or connect your own PlantWave and play together with your plant: a living dialogue in light, color and sound. A prototype in progress, part of the Seymour Hearmore series.
