Æther/Or is an artist collective and visual effects/design consultancy founded by Executive Producer Matt Thunell, based on Earth. Featured work spotlights Thunell, Hatem Ben Abdallah, Wes Kandel, Asterix, and The Inner Circle.

The name embodies a deliberate paradox: the tension between beauty and mission. Resolved not by choosing one, but by inhabiting both. Æther — the ancient fifth element — evokes the substance of the heavens beyond form. Or holds the electric charge of choice, the binary spark of creation. Æther/Or stands for work that is simultaneously grounded and groundless, rooted in technical precision and real-world impact, while reaching into the immaterial realms of wonder and storytelling.

We believe the same cinematic craft behind Hollywood's most iconic visual worlds also serves brand campaigns, live events, and national security programs. In a world of either/or, we create both/and.
